Welcome to CMC Winnipeg Chapter 023
The Canadian Motorcycle Cruisers was founded in late November of 2006 with the first chapter in Cambridge/Guelph, ON. Nationally, CMC now has 82 chapters with over 5,000 members across Canada and growing everyday. Proudly Canadian!!
We welcome any make/model of motorcycle and we are non-gender bias. Passengers, partners / spouses and family are welcome. If you are a non-rider but have interest in riding, please join us. There is no membership fee to join the CMC and there will never be a fee to remain in the club.
We follow some basic rules: Have alot of fun; No Alcohol on group rides; Safe riding that follows group riding protocol; Always make effort to be nice;
For our Winnipeg group, the high-lighted dates in the calender to the right, show scheduled events / rides. Just place your curser on a high-lighted date and the event opens for details. All members and non-members are welcome at all events/rides.

The Winnipeg Chapter (CMC 023) was started in October 2007. We currently have well over 100 members in our chapter and growing steadily. We have members who are new riders, right through to seasoned riders with many years of experience. We welcome everyone and truly enjoy meeting new people. Most CMC Chapters hold weekly and monthly events/rides dependant on the season in their area.
Membership has many benefits such as another circle of riders and friends (local & Canada wide), discounts at various establishments (local & across Canada), regular updated info on events, news, etc via email.
There is a national CMC Forum that official members can keep up to date with local chapter events / rides as well as events cross Canada in Fellow CMC Chapters. Registration to the forum is %100 free and a great way to meet other riders across Canada.
CMC has a riding crest that can be purchased by members called the "Madison". It is named in honour of a CMC member's 10 year old daughter who designed the crest.
If you are interested in meeting others who ride and joining a fun and friendly group, then CMC might be right for you! To learn more about Canadian Motorcycle Cruisers, contact an officer by clicking the 'contacts' tab above or click the CMC NATIONAL button at the top of our page.
Thanks for checking us out.
Safe riding and hope to meet you down the road! |

Mom's Way Ride. MOM is an acronym for (M)anitoba (O)ntario (M)innesota, this ride is basically a loop around Lake of the Woods. This ride is going to be close to 700 km's and keeping a group on time for this day could be a challenge to ensure return before sundown, so any graduated license riders will need to be aware of this possibility.Tentative day looks as follows Deacon's to Kenora and a roughly 30 min coffee/fuel stop. Kenora to Nestor Falls and a short break and a fuel stop for those concerned they don't have the range to make it from Kenora to Baudette (226 km) Stop for lunch in Baudette. Baudette to Steinbach a bit of a haul but will likely get a break while waiting to cross border. Hopefully into Steinbach near Dinner time for those that want supper. Then back to Winnipeg via Hwy 52 & 59 end point Tim's at Sage Creek. If all goes to plan with minimal border crossing delays I hope to have us home by 9pm. Meet at Deacon's Corner (Highway #1 & 207) at 7:45AM, KSU 8AM. A Passport will be required or you will need to turn around at Rainy River and reverse course back home. Route: http://binged.it/JL67AM
